i have five dollars to my name. i'm in south dakota. we've been in and off and on buses for over twenty-four hours. i slept for an hour and a half. the week before that was filled with driving and alcohol. the car died on the way out of rock springs. we have been met with nothing but kindness and consideration. at three this morning i was the only one awake aside from the driver and reflecting back on how we got here, the people we met and those who have helped us, i felt like crying. couldn't sleep. too overwhelmed. where is god?
